TPUPCF JAX Our History: As part of the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) committee recommendation to consolidate brigs across the Department of Defense, and agreement between CNIC and CNP, the NAS Jacksonville Brig was closed and the consolidated TPU/PCF command was established on August 1, 2010. Our Mission: Assure fleet lethality by delivering expeditious and effective service to the warfighter, especially under challenging conditions, and provide a safe and secure environment for multi-service prisoners during confinement. Assure an excellent quality of life for our team and their families, with a focus on resilience. Work to build sound partnerships with all military and local entities through committed stewardship.
