The Cheesy Chess Club

The Cheesy Chess Club is a nonprofit organization in St. Augustine, committed to offering, teaching and encouraging, casual, unrated, over the board Chess to everyone in a fun, social setting to connect, engage, learn, teach & play OTB Chess. We meet at Cheba Hut Toasted Subs on Anastasia island. We are there from 2ish until 6 ish each Wednesday. Play over the board unrated, casual, cheesy chess. Learn, teach & play chess & meet other chess players of all ages in a fun place to spend the afternoon. The Cheesy chess club teaches chess at the council on aging and starting a program to connect chess players with senior home bound and disabled citizens to prevent despair and isolation.. by playing chess with a volunteer on a regular basis.♟
