Incorporated in 1939. Originally called Darbyville, the town was renamed in 1885 for its founder, H.C. Macclenny, who owned large tracts of land in the vicinity. Macclenny is located in eastern Baker County and is around 28 miles west of downtown Jacksonville. Estimated population in 2020 was a little over 7,000. We welcome you to our community.
